The district has the largest population in Russia – 39.5 million people (2020), or 26.87% of the Russian Federation. About half of the region’s population lives in Moscow. Moscow is the main nerve hub of the country, which connects the regions not only with each other, but also with the wider world. No other place in Russia offers such a wide range of conditions necessary for rapid creative development.
